    Cell service outages across the province may impact calls. Land lines and VHF channel 16 are not impacted. Les pannes de service cellulaire à travers la province peuvent avoir un impact sur les appels SAR. Les lignes terrestres et le canal VHF 16 ne sont pas touchés.

    Going kite surfing? Bring the appropriate safety equipment and have a plan to bail in poor weather. Our SAR Techs are trained to deal with inclement weather. You are not. Don't be our next .

    PUBLIC SAFETY ⛑ BC DAY WK Long wkds are the busiest for the 2500 who respond to 1700+ incidents per yr., many of those mishaps can be prevented. Plan for the best... prepare for the “what if?” Media release. Please share.

    to all of our SAR partners who responded so quickly to the afternoon’s SAR event. All passengers on board the floatplane that went down in the water near Sechelt, B.C. are being transferred to hospital.
