A sobering, detailed interactive map of BC's old growth logging plans on Vancouver Island and beyond. Within a few minutes of looking I realized some of the most beautiful fish I've ever encountered live a stone's throw from where these oldies will be cut.

I’m speaking up for Old-Growth Forests! PLEASE enact immediate & longer-term, science-based solutions for ancient forests. Preserve what makes BC the incredible place LOVED by residents and visitors from around the world.💚

Please spread the word! Trail runners, hikers and walkers: stop meeting up! Get outside, but do it alone or with those in your household. Trails and public space access will be closed if we don't respect the directions from the heath authority.

To all trail users. If you do not practise physical distancing, the trails will close. This is not the time to go out with your friends. Tell everyone to follow orders tomorrow or we'll all be riding/running on the road on Monday. That is all.
