Hi there 👋

About me

I am Shuyue Jia, Chinese name: 贾舒越, English name: Bruce Jia, a master student (2021 entry) majoring in Information Technology at the School of Computer Science, The University of Sydney (USYD) in Australia 🇦🇺. Before that, in 2020, I obtained my bachelor's degree from the School of Automation Engineering at Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU) in mainland China 🇨🇳, advised by Prof. Yimin Hou. During college, I also attended a summer school at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in California, United States 🇺🇸 in 2017. Besides, I have attended a 3-month summer intern at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China in 2019 and currently taking a 6-month research intern at Philips Research in Shanghai, China.

Focus

Currently, my research interest includes Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
