This was added recently but it's not clear how it actually works, and what kind of loss can be expected when using it.
Unofficial LibASS with added custom native Visual Studio project build tools. LibASS: libass is a portable subtitle renderer for the ASS/SSA (Advanced Substation Alpha/Substation Alpha) subtitle format.

While we’re on the topic of faux font styles, it seems that our faux bold is wrong too. However, all I know so far is that the popular “Fansub Block” font (which has a single glyph that is a rectangle) doesn’t seem to be emboldened in VSFilter at all.
