    As a former board member of and a giant fan of ’s work, this made me tear up. So much went in to making this a reality. So grateful for the leadership and tenacity of frontline care workers.

    Over 20 years working on caregiving solutions & this is the first time a presidential campaign has made investments in the care economy a core strategy in their economic agenda. Not a side issue, an add on, or a special interest. [THREAD]

    YES!!! This is incredible progress for a workforce of women of color who make so much possible in our lives, yet have been excluded from protections. Thank you for your leadership & support of domestic workers ! 👏🏽

    Incredible news, has called for passing our National Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in his plan. This, along with universal preschool and better pay and benefits for caregivers, is the right way to move our nation forward.

    I've been advocating for Universal Family Care - universal access to child care, long-term care & paid family leave & all care jobs -> good jobs. This plan is not that but it puts us on a hopeful path. The care economy is a public good. We need public policy to make it a reality.
