This isn't a direct issue to kcgi but I think it could be valuable to add some information on how to use FastCGI with kcgi based programs on the official documentation.

kcgi makes uses of PATH_INFO which seems... to be poorly implemented in most web servers.

In some instances, the server-wide tmp directory is not accessible for the app. Support for the ability to set an alternative tmp directory may be useful, or at the very least, simple instructions on how to do this yourself should be added. These docs could be about how to set up the env va to do this, or how to add the $ENV{TMPDIR} to lthe app itself.
