When using this for a background, everything works great. But, if for some reason your page extends beyond 100%, the color will wrap around, which creates an unacceptable break. Please include an explanation of how to avoid this undesirable break.

I guess you assigned the background style to Inner Element.
background-color : value <-- This will work fine for everything.
Background Color adjust automatically when page size is Increased or Decreased with respective Breakpoints.
