Jess, a member of Open Oakland pointed out that people who cannot distinguish red and green may have trouble with the colors we've chosen. There may be lots of other issues that we aren't even aware of. This audit should be easy to do with the accessibility tab in Firefox (and Chrome?).

We're using console.log calls to debug server-side code. These calls should be made via a logging system that allows the developer to specify the log level (debug, error, warn, log, etc). We should be able to specify to our app via a config file which levels to output and where to stream output (file, stdout, etc)

The zoom icons have their title's hard coded in English.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the site on a desktop or laptop and search for something so that you can see the map
2. Change the language to anything other than English
3. Hover your mouse over the zoom in and out icons and look at the title text that should pop up
4. The pop up text
