    If you read through the thread you will see that there is also some evidence that K-pop, being such a large and influential twitter block, and one that has engaged with protests in Chile and other places, has driven this resurgence simply through their tweets.

    The insane number of RTs for a number of Anonymous announcements and threats today are unlike anything I've seen and struck me as weird.

    True. I point out it was designed for the haarcascade face detection algorithm from 2001, but that never seems to stick with people. It's a complicated landscape to design for. You'll want to look into MXNet RetinaFace implementation now and ultralight cnn face detector

    This is why we need humanitiea in tech, not that these leaders are smart enough to understand why. The world doesn’t work this way. These people can’t handle a messy, complicated world & want to reduce it to order & neat abstractions. They want control when it’s not possible.

    Denmark were about to dump 290mn liters of unfiltered toilet water into the Baltic Sea. Turns out Copenhagen has dumped over 35bn litres of such water straight into Öresund, since 2014. Yes, the same Copenhagen who claim they'll be "climate neutral" 2025.
