    Apple has delayed the release of mechanisms designed to scan photos and iMessages. Good. This important first step is the direct result of users (you) standing up for privacy and fighting back against the creep of surveillance. The fight isn't over, but this victory matters.

    Breaking: Apple has delayed rolling out its CSAM detection technology in iOS 15, citing feedback from customers, advocacy groups, researchers and others — which has been largely negative since the technology was announced in August.

    We are happy to see our technology and vision seeing wider adoption in other tech, but there is still a long way to go. Many of the privacy gains made in the last several years are a direct result of user outrage & push back. Keep demanding real privacy.
