    Ratcliffe had decided on his own earlier on in the day to hold the press conference. FBI and CISA joined in so the warning would be seen as independent and apolitical. But he also omitted any references to the Proud Boys, even though the group was named in his prepared remarks.

    And that level of inclusion only occurs when business leaders not only accept the business value of diversity but also the organization's social responsibility as well.

    One of hardest learned lessons of my professional life: you can’t simply hire a diverse candidate and hope for the best with your traditional workforce. Inclusive culture only happens when all levels share the values and vision of diversity and inclusion.

    Consider this. 91% of security job descriptions call for a certification, nearly 60% specify CISSP or equivalent. says there a 2.8M security professionals but only 141,607 have a CISSP (that's 5%). Do you think there might be an issue here?

    Another month and lots more REDoS vulns. This one in particular however was found in a very popular package. Check out the story of how an independent researcher found it, reported it to us, and we helped disclose, get it fixed, and credit the researcher with the CVE.
