    A5: from the scientist perspective, there as definitely been a warming towards open science and a cultural change. For ex, preprints have really increased. We have an opportunity to rebuild science in a lens of equity!

    A4: : first of all, it is a privilege to be able to work in the open. Some people don't have the support to do this! Struggles include PIs that discourage openness. Advice: empower yourself with the evidence that shows how helpful working openly is!
