After opening MLK Drive to people for safe social distancing, Philadelphia has chosen not to build on that success to create safer social distancing, even as more pedestrians are being killed by motor vehicle traffic.

I was sharing with a friend a few weeks ago about how imo the myths of widespread panic buying were harmful -- this shares a perspective on how *most* are showing kindness. And spreading *more* how people are showing kindness encourages kindness.

[CW COVID/news related] Real Q: Anyone know of unions funding workers stay home/quit from meat packing plants? A la the "Quit Your Job" approach for workers to quit ICE. Putting workers at risk (forcing plants to open) without cause is unconscionable, I'd like to donate.
