For one of our plugins we're currently running into the error described below:

SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1140 Mixing of GROUP columns (MIN(),MAX(),COUNT(),...) with no GROUP columns is illegal if th

GET /avatars/flags/{code} only works wither lower-case letters.

That is not really convenient, since the country codes from GET /locale/countries are capitalized.

My suggestion would be, to make GET /avatars/flags/{code} case-insensitive.

Describe the bug
Some of the countries that are available for selection seem to be missing flag images (we have 198). This results in broken img elements.

To Reproduce
Select "American Samoa" (AS) or "Åland Islands" (AX).
