Cy Vance opposed the parole release of our Director multiple times, keeping him locked away from his family for 7 additional years. He is probably responsible for the parole denials of thousands of other elders. He is a grand enforcer of mass incarceration.

Q: Q: 75% of ppl in NYC jails are awaiting trial. To close Rikers, which is the Citys policy, will require treating the presumption of innocence much more seriously – incl for ppl facing more serious charges. (1/2)
