Get started with BASIC
Use the site search box (in the upper right of this page) to find your software listed on SourceForge. When you are viewing your software page on SourceForge, click on the "Claim this Software page" button.
You will be asked to create an account and then fill out a claim form. After your claim is approved, you can update the details of your software, like pricing options, screenshots, audience, and more.
Remember to set up a badge to qualify for our BASIC BOOST package for free.
If you can't find an existing listing on SourceForge for your software, please fill out our request form for a new software listing.

Did you know you can get more exposure for your software page on SourceForge for free by placing a SourceForge badge on your website? If you don't have a page on SourceForge yet, see our BASIC getting started guide first.
To set up a badge, log in and go to your SourceForge software listing. Click on "Admin" and then in the left menu click on "Badges"
When you place a SourceForge badge on your company website, your product page on SourceForge will automatically start to rank higher in our category and software search results. The badge also shows off your SourceForge user reviews.
The badge is available in a dark or light theme, which you can see below:
Placing the SourceForge badge on your company website is the best way to show off your user reviews to potential customers visiting your website. It also encourages current customers to leave you a review on your SourceForge software review page. The star rating on your badge will automatically reflect the star rating on your SourceForge page. If you do not have any reviews yet, you can still place the badge on your site, and the stars will be replaced by a “Write a Review� button until you have at least one customer review.
Once the badge is placed on your site, our system automatically recognizes that and will begin to rank your software above all other pages that have not placed the badge on their company website. This entire process is free of charge.
