    Pros: Very fast operations.
    Reliable and scalable.
    Simple to setup and use.
    Supports transactions.
    Can store large size key value pairs.

    Cons: Single threaded.
    Lack of decent GUI client makes it less accessible.

    Overall: Redis is super-fast, simple and reliable. It is highly versatile and can be used as a database, session cache and even a message broker.
