Hi there 👋

I'm Dave, located in the far west of Canada. In 2008 I got fed up with my life working in I.T., sold everything I owned, bought a bicycle, and rode it around the world. Eventually along the way I ran out of money, got married, and ended up moving back to Canada. It wasn't 2 days after landing that I became Chief Information Officer for a disruptive online educational program.

Meetings are great, but I still like to tinker and seriously interested in architecture, automation, and integration. I'm using Github to post alot of the work I have done for some of my clients around the world, sanitized for public consumption. I like lightweight, highly configurable solutions that can meet more than a single use case.

I'm also offering my skills to those seeking custom development of solutions in a wide variety of areas, and also seeking 10 Github sponsors who will help support further work.

I'm also up for collaborating on open source projects, willing to offer skills in project management, mentorship, and steering.
