Currently (commit 00eef4cfb164fc91d97ae620bcc7581663ad5854 at the time of this writing), the adapter doesn't completely handle include directive. There's primitive support for the directive, which is why it is not documented as supported. Big part of the reason is due to difficulty in resolution of the absolute path of the file to be included.
