    Great progress to reduce was made in Parliament yesterday on our . We will: 🚮 make producers 100% responsible for the cost to dispose of their waste ♻️ introduce a deposit return scheme on drinks containers ✅ expand single-use plastics charges

    Extended Producer Responsibility
    We're making producers accountable for how they package their products through our landmark Environment Bill. This will help improve innovation in reducing plastic waste.

    Today designated the largest in the Atlantic! Our has over 4 million km2 of protected ocean around the UK Overseas Territories. A huge conservation win & an important step in protecting the world's biodiversity & ecosystems.
