currently "option forwardfor" cant't be unset, so there is no way to enable it in the default section and disable it in a particular frontend

Describe the bug
A query remains indefinitely in "fetching" status when the component where it is originated crashes and the error is catched by an error boundary.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
