The rumble pak had a large number of supported games, and the controller pak likewise had an extensive list of support, with not insignificant crossover.
Many of the games that supported both allowed you to switch them out as needed, such as San Francisco Rush 204

The mupen64plus-input-bot plugin was updated to support multiple controllers in kevinhughes27/mupen64plus-input-bot#8. As part of this change the way the controller server is accessed changed slightly - it now requires an integer at the end of the url to specify which controller.
