Dr. Lisa D. Cook has joined the #USPTO as an Edison Research Fellow. Dr. Cook is a professor in the Department of Economics at Michigan State University and the Director of the American Economic Association Summer Program.

In her new role as an Edison Fellow, Dr. Cook will conduct research on and contribute to USPTO efforts to expand participation in the intellectual property system by women, minorities, and veterans.

She joins current Edison Fellows Mark Finlayson (Florida... International University) and Neel Sukhatme (Georgetown University Law Center). Read more about the USPTO’s Edison Visiting Scholar Program: https://bit.ly/2JWurrr.
