plausible
Plausible Analytics is an open-source project dedicated to making web analytics more privacy-friendly. Our mission is to reduce corporate surveillance by providing an alternative web analytics tool which doesn’t come from the AdTech world. The full-time team is based in the EU and consists of Uku Taht and Marko Saric.
Plausible Analytics is a simple, lightweight (<1 KB), open-source and privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics. We don't use any cookies and we don't track any personal data. With Plausible Analytics, you fully own and control your website data. It is not being shared with or sold to any third-parties. Since we don't make money from targeted advertisement, we must ask for a fee to keep the servers running and keep the development going. You can read more about Plausible Analytics here.
We recently launched the free as in beer self-hosted version of Plausible Analytics (exact same product as the Cloud version) with a great deal of help from our community on GitHub. We've been asked for donation options from those who use and want to support the self-hosted version so we're opening up the opportunity to sponsor the project. All funds donated via GitHub will go to the development of Plausible Analytics Self-Hosted.
