Network MTU returned as -1 when a loopback interface has the maximum value

On a Windows environment:

Software Loopback Interface's network MTU is currently reported as -1 which corresponds to unknown or unavailable.
However, upon comparing against Get-NetIPInterface and netsh interface ipv4 show interface, loopback's value for MTU is 4294967295.
