Hi there 👋

My name is Mark, and I've been a web developer for over 20 years. I create courses & screencasts for M.academy, and love creating technical educational content for Magento, Laravel, Docker, PHP, & JavaScript.

My most popular repo is docker-magento, a development environment I created for Magento that is based on Docker. I've been working on it for over 5 years now, and it's by far my biggest accomplishment in open source.

I'm a strong believer in side projects. It shows you are really passionate about programming, and is a great way to learn something outside of your area of expertise.

I'm currently working on Snippets. It's an app you can use to generate beautiful snippets of code that you can then share across social media, or create curated educational content for others to purchase. It runs on Laravel and uses Puppeter to orchestrate browser screenshots.
