With CPU's like the 3900x and 3950x becoming more common it would be nice to see a higher CPU thread transcoding count available.

I'd prefer to not use auto.

Peertube is limited to 8 threads but my 3900x can technically push 12. 24 if I wanted to use SMT. It would also be nice to see more thread options available - such as instead of immediately jumping from 4 to 8 there is the option for 4

Please add video length on the video thumbnail just like the official Developer app from Apple.

Right now, I can see the length if I click to go to detail screen, but I would have to do it one by one. It would be great to see the length of each video in a glance so that if i have like 15 minutes, I know which one I can watch.

You can see in test_loop() that loop is not quite working as some tests are skipped or else they would cause the tests to fail. To close this issue you need to do the following

• Try running the tests that are currently broken
• Fix loop so that the tests can run (or convince me that the tests are wrong :) )

~/.config/youtube-dlg should just contain configuration files and not logs (which should go to $XDG_DATA_HOME/youtube-dlg/ ) nor youtube-dl binary (which should go to $XDG_CACHE_HOME).

Please also consider using appdirs instead of hardcoding ~/.config/
