I hope not using the format is fine, as this is more of a suggestion.

My use case
I am currently using nextcloud for most of my archival and backup needs for several programs. Most contain database files of active programs that get updated every few seconds.

My problem
As you can probably imagine, constantly uploading said files kind of constantly occupies both source and target N

After running NC with NCP for more then a year with over 2 million files stored on it, I asked myself if the mysql/mariadb DB needs to be maintained?
I searched the internet and the simplest solution I found was using

sudo mysqlcheck -o --all-databases

This reduced the DB size from around 950MB to a little over 800MB and NC seems to be a little more responsive (but this could homeopat

For mails which are not a thread but just single emails, the layout is a bit strange currently cause it shows too much info. Also it makes no sense to be able to collapse the only email.

So we could check what to do with the header there (possibly just not show the people bubbles in the header?) and probably block collapsing the mail.

When a user is offline and tries to add an account, the app crashes (UnknownErrorException: Unable to resolve host "cloud.example.com": No address associated with hostname).

The app should validate that the device is connected to the internet before proceeding and prompting an proper error message in case the device is offline.

Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

As a user I want to find an existing contact in order to add it to a contact group. Currently the search is case sensitive. But IMHO it should not be.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '/apps/contacts/'
  2. Click on '...'-Symbol of a contact group
  3. Click on 'Add contacts'
  4. Search for a

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
First, thanks so much for your work, this app is very useful to me.
The 3 dots menu in the upper right corner contains only 3 items (Details, Preview and Fullscreen).
I know the app is meant to be distraction-free but having a menu there feels rather unnecessary given what's inside. I personally often use the Preview feature and
