Most of the documentation has been rewritten recently. The content minimum content we need is there but there is a lot that can be done to improve it.

If you'd like to contribute to the semantic-release project, helping with the following would be much appreciated:

• Fix typo, misspelling and gramatical mistakes
• Improve language: make short and simpler sentences, improve clarity
• Harmoniz

Seeing how getting GitVersion to work in different CI servers (Jenkins seems particularly problematic) is a recurring problem, it would be great if we documented GitVersion’s requirements for successfully generating a version number such as:

1. An unshallow clone.
2. An existing local master branch.
3. Possibly an existing local develop branch (for GitFlow).

Feature request

Use update-notifier to notify users if they're using an older version.

Currently we don't have a good UI for showing what is getting bumped and why and maybe how... We have a lot of that info inside the bumpInfo object now because we now bump virtually before things are written to disk. We should be able to summarize for users.
