I want to use the "ecr-login" credHelper for both from and to, but I need to use different environment variables (AWS_PROFILE in my case), because the IAM is different in each case. If it is possible somehow, I would like to know, and if not, I would like to request this feature (just like e.g. environment can be set for dockerClient).

`crio config` fixes
Currently, calling crio config spits out an entire config file. However, it would be prudent for us to move away from the monolithic config file, in favor of smart defaults, and drop-in files.
However, to do this, there needs to be a way for users to quickly create drop-in files, and have them not override the defaults where they don't need to.

make tidy currently runs directly on your host relying on the tools and their respective versions. While there is make tidy-in-docker, it is not documented. Let's either replace make tidy in the documentation with make-tidy-docker or change the functionality of make tidy to be containerized.

In a use case of inserting primarily binary or already compressed objects, having a flag to just disable compression seems feasible.
This would leave the mediaType as just application/vnd.oci.image.layer.v1.tar
Issue #14 describes the initial matchers needed. This ticket should be picked up once all those are in place, to extend further:

Currently validating checksums requires lots of knowledge on the part of the caller. We should expose optional checksum validation in our existing validation functions e.g.
IPv4.IsValid.header.UDP and header.TCP don't currently have these functions; we should add them.
