Brett Kromkamp's GitHub Profile

You've reached Brett Kromkamp's GitHub profile.

I contribute to and maintain Contextualise, TopicDB, StoryDB and a couple of other open source projects.

Expect many of my projects and accompanying repositories to be related to the intersection of knowledge graphs, content management and information architecture using topic maps-based —semantic— technologies.

Technologies I enjoy working with, include:

  • Python programming language
  • Flask web framework
  • Django web framework
  • JavaScript programming language
  • Vue.js frontend web framework
  • PostgreSQL relational database
  • Topic maps provide a way to describe complex relationships between abstract concepts and real-world (information) resources
  • Blender 3D creation suite
  • three.js library for 3D web content

Current Focus - October 2020

I'm currently extending Contextualise to include a reveal.js-based presentation mode to supplement the existing knowledge path feature.

I will see you again, in the place where no shadows fall. — Ambassador Delenn, Babylon 5
