    I'm always careful to criticize Putin's policies, but not Russian people. Pundits and politicians must try harder to distinguish between criticism of Xi's policies and the Chinese people.

    Separating children from their family is tragic and heartbreaking. Sadly, current law incentivizes parents to separate themselves from their own children as they turn them over to criminals who ferry them to our border. Many are abused in the process. Some don't survive.

    Now parents are sending children alone. ALONE. THAT is awful. Following our laws is what is necessary. If we don’t like the laws, we work to change them, not ignore them.

    244-172: House votes to reauthorize and update the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), which expired two years ago. 29 Republicans joined all Democrats in voting Yes. Bill now heads to the Senate.

    Not only do voters from both parties overwhelmingly support voter ID, support has INCREASED in the last few years. So why are Democrats trying gut voter ID laws in the 36 states that want them with their nutty HR1 proposal?
