    "Great team collaboration app "

    Posted 03/28/2021

Pros: - integrates with a vast array of tools
    - very customizable
    - intuitive UI and slick design
    - many little ideas you uncover over time

Cons: - video chat and conference calls need some improvement
    - it's not the cheapest of team communication apps

Overall: There are many good reasons to like working with Slack. The whole package makes your team more effective, offers a rich insight into your company's shared data and gives team collaboration another dimension.

There are few details to work on, and the price range aims higher, but overall it's a great tool with an immense potential.

"The right platform for collaboration and work communication is Slack"

    Posted 03/27/2021

Pros: This application offers an optimal communicative collaboration through channels that integrate tools and files. It has options for information transfer through messaging or allocation of any type of files. It also has conversation threads that allow us to have parallel communication without hindering the main one. It is an excellent tool that unifies the internal communications of our company; physical or digital to optimally manage all the obligations that sharpen a labor stability that, in case of doubts, you will always have a channel at your disposal to consult with supervisors or collaborators.

Cons: Two of the most notable problems of this application are first a lack of calendar management within the channels, tasks and projects are scheduled, but without date specifications. On the other hand, it does not provide a hierarchy system within the chat to delegate a collaborator to manage the flow of content.

Overall: In concrete terms, this tool provides us with a unique communication opportunity; offering us totally open channels with permanent availability to exchange information between employees and facilitate operability, although no calendar management is set to specify the time that must be used for each task.

"Slack increases communication in work teams"

    Posted 03/22/2021

Pros: Slack is an application that gives us an ease of communication within an organizational team, gives you options to share any type of files we want with our staff through messaging in closed, open or shared channels in addition to a variety of other functions.

Cons: This application is listed as one of the best when it comes to communication. However, it is purchased that it is not one of the most economical, making it clear that although it has a free plan, the limitations it presents are quite considerable compared to other plans.

Overall: Slack provides an extensive set of functions in terms of messaging that make it the leading application of its kind, from personalized notifications to direct messages; it also adapts excellently to other applications. But in consolidating that unlike its competition its price is the highest.

"Slack is a diverse service for projects with different deadlines"

    Posted 03/21/2021

Pros: By using Slack after having used some other project management software, it is completely possible to import documentation from other projects without any problems with report formats, whose structure remains completely stable. With Slack it is possible to organize projects entirely from cell phones.

Cons: The speed of deployment of Slack is not the same from the web version than from the installation version (for desktops), since the web version consumes much more bandwidth resources, which makes it difficult to work if you are doing operations outside the Slack platform. From Slack it is not possible to apply surveys to the project's team of employees.

Overall: Slack is as varied as any other service oriented to the administrative management of projects, but the interesting thing is the ease with which we can create panels and organize them, eliminating the limit you have of the project data once they are placed within those panels. Slack is good for connecting to collaboration services, which would serve to synchronize the team.

"Pleasant conversations in a general and direct way."

    Posted 03/01/2021

Pros: Slack specializes in being a totally stable platform for communicating various work parties. This platform currently in our company for about 1 year and a half, and its benefit has been great, since it has been able to improve the organization of work groups and also the general communication of the company and customers. The main feature most used in our company is the communication of the teams, and that is one of the things that I like the most about Slack, because this platform has a fluid system so that people can communicate in real time and the messages are received at the same moment, in addition, Slack helps me to stay tuned in the exact moment of the conversations that are being spoken in a specific channel or in a work group. Another thing I like about Slack is its "Slack Connect" feature as this feature has allowed me to optimize my skills, get work ideas and boost the completion of my tasks, because Slack Connect allows me to connect with other people from other companies, but that are in the same work area as me, so I have been able to get new work ideas and I can also discuss a new work mechanism. The third feature that I like about Slack is its excellent security service with an encryption key for all conversations and files that have been shared from each chat channel, Slack has an Enterprise service that protects the entire platform with an encryption key. , in order to prevent any unauthorized person from entering our communication system.

Cons: Slack seems to me to be an incredible platform, since with the help of this platform we have obtained the ability to create a better work environment where there is never a lack of general communication from employees and clients, however, there is a feature of Slack that has not given me a good functionality and has not had a good development since I use Slack, this feature is:

    - The search system. Slack offers the search service because new channels are created day after day, new conversations are started and communication is more constant every day, which causes many messages to be saved in a history that Slack offers, however, this system search is not as efficient as it seems, on several occasions I have done word search to find some old conversations, and Slack only shows a part of the results of the searched word, it does not show all of the results, I think this platform it does not show all the results so as not to saturate its operation, however this has affected my experience as I have not been able to find the conversations I am looking for. I would like to be able to see all the results for the words I am searching for.

Overall: Any company would like to have wide communication with various work groups and to be able to have a pleasant interaction with their work colleagues. Slack is the ideal platform for all those companies that want to enhance their communication system in a general way. It is important to note that Slack must make a couple of improvements in the search system, in order to make it more precise and show more results, however, my experience with Slack has been really good and I am happy with the results we have obtained in this course of time. Slack has allowed us to develop better conversations, in a totally stable chat channel where we can easily make a pleasant file sharing and we also have the ability to make direct calls to any member or in a general way. In addition, Slack also allows me to directly message a specific person, which also helps me develop a more private conversation. Slack has great potential as a platform to develop a better work environment and drive the conversation of all work teams, it is totally worth it and I recommend it without a doubt.

    "Best communication platform for workplace"

    Posted 03/01/2021

Pros: Great tool for communicating with colleagues, collaborating on real-time projects, updating each other on work progress, and even connecting with managers and superiors. It works equally well for student groups and intern teams - basically any workforce or field requiring collaborative communication and real-time tracking of participants.

Cons: It really is feature-packed. I cannot think of anything I'd change, other than the quality of video conferences.

Overall: Excellent communication app. It is unmatched in terms of features and agility, and even the pricing is worth it for organizations to make communication easier.

"I love the way Slack communicates with my team."

    Posted 02/24/2021

Pros: In our company, Slack is implemented in all work areas, in this way, all areas can be mutually communicated and there can be a greater flow of data. One of the features that I like about Slack is that this platform offers me a chat in real time, in all chat channels, this has allowed me to send and receive messages instantly and thus be able to have direct conversations at all times, without any kind of delay in receiving messages. In addition, I really like Slack's notification system, as it can let me know which chat channel I have recently been mentioned on and it also sends me instant notifications for when I have pending messages to review. Slack is impressive, and his ability to keep in touch with my colleagues is also impressive.

Cons: I've never had a problem with Slack working. This platform is correctly optimized and it has always provided a fluidity when communicating with my work team. The chat channels always remain active and this allows that there can be a perfect sending and receiving of messages continuously. I will continue to use Slack, since it benefits our group communication so much, I hope it continues with this good behavior and never gives me any type of errors during the communication process.

Overall: My overall experience with Slack has been pretty good. When I started using this platform, the adaptation process was quite fast, since it is not a difficult platform to use, the configuration of the chat channels is quite simple and to configure the communication in a general way in all the channels, it is easy. In addition, Slack offers a perfect notification service, which keeps us attentive to any mention, any pending message to read and any movement in the chat channels. I love Slack, his ability to communicate with my team is impressive.

    Posted 02/23/2021

Pros: I have used it for my studies, it is really helpful as a group of people can simultaneously chat with each other and can reply to a thread inside a conversation.

Cons: Video calling is not that great, could be improved and the participant limit in video cal is low.

Overall: You can edit, delete your messages, share files and securely chat with one to one or one too many. It is fast and very secure. It has a lot of handy tools.

"Slack is an organized communication zone."

    Posted 02/22/2021

Pros: It facilitates communication in the development of collaborative work. It has third-party integrations that allow me to keep everything in one place, such as integration with zoom or Google applications. I like it because it is a good option for communication between external teams. It is very fluid, I have not had any problems due to platform failures. I can both zoom and chat on the Slack platform at the same time.

Cons: It is a bit difficult to find a conversation in old chats, it takes a bit of time if I need old information. The threads function is a bit poorly done in the sense that sometimes I get confused or lose the thread when everything is published in the same thread, this prevents me from being informed of the new publications that are made.

Overall: Slack has been able to help me channel all the information that is handled within the company, this has strengthened internal communication and growth for the correct and clear transmission of information. This platform has been able to establish an organized conversation by allowing no work team to select the channels they are interested in or need for feedback on a project without having overwhelming chats that hinder the work flow.

"Top messaging software for internal communication"

    Posted 02/18/2021

Pros: I use Slack to communicate with my colleagues throughout the day. All the co-workers who are involved with a client project are put in a specific channel for that client only making it easy to handle related topics.

Cons: Slack has numerous ways to notify its users when there are updates or messages and this can make you get sucked into every discussion.

Overall: Slack is best for team communication in today's modern workplace. It is perfect when looking for that quick response from your team members. It is available for both desktop and as a mobile app.

"Stable connection for open communication with colleagues."

    Posted 02/17/2021

Pros: I am a Slack user, I use this platform in order to communicate with my entire work team and be able to promote the connection of all work teams. Slack has been a really good solution since it was implemented in our workplace, because I have been able to connect with my colleagues directly. What I like the most about Slack is that this platform allows me to edit all the chat channels and also make changes to the members of the channels, just by using commands. By placing the # symbol, I can access a wide variety of commands that make my stay in Slack more complete and I can make modifications more easily.

Cons: I'm not getting as many notifications from Slack on my mobile device. The notifications with the computer version, which Slack offers me, sends me notifications when they mention me in a chat channel or when they send messages in a channel that I have not muted, however, this experience is not the same when I use Slack in my mobile device. On my phone I use Slack to communicate with my work colleagues when I am out of office hours, however, I do not receive notifications when I have pending messages in a chat channel or when they have made changes to the channels, I only receive notifications when I mentioned in some message.

Overall: My experience with Slack has been regular, because as I mentioned earlier, the mobile phone application that Slack offers me does not send me notifications about everything that is happening in the messaging of the sectors of my company. Slack has been a really good platform, I have been able to communicate with my colleagues without any delay in sending or receiving messages and I have also been able to enjoy great stability in the chat channels, I have never had any fall during a conversation or discussion with my work colleagues. Slack is quite fluid and its user interface is too comfortable for anyone.

"Slack is for today, but built for tomorrow"

    Posted 02/16/2021

Pros: This is a must-have for any desk-based team, especially right now. Emails are great but this is the best way to share files and messages quickly and jump right into a call if needed.

Cons: The audio calling is not as reliable as other calling software. Otherwise, for chat, this is great for desk-based teams or desk-based remote teams.

Overall: Overall this is a must-have literally for any tech business right now. It was built by developers for developers and it is top-notch in keeping a remote dev team connected.

"Keeps the team working in one direction."

    Posted 02/15/2021

Pros: I like it because I don't miss out on talking about one project or another thanks to the creation of channels and that all the conversation is well structured and organized. The integration with Hubspot is excellent since it maintains two platforms that I use in one and thus not have to pass information manually. I can also communicate with my work teams about something about the company or any type of conversation since the information can be separated. If I want to search for information within the channels, it is very easy with a search engine, it is not necessary to ask the question twice and thus avoid confusion.

Cons: Sometimes I have problems searching for certain information within so many channels. Yes, there is a precise search engine for that job but it would be better to be able to save messages or store them in a place called "favorites" and to be able to tag them for an even faster and smoother search. That would be my only drawback with Slack.

Overall: With the help of Slack I can maintain orderly communication with this instant messenger that can be structured very easily. It has facilitated collaborative work between employees, as well as being able to communicate between departments to share information with instant responses. Slack has been quite important to my company when it comes to not being able to meet to discuss between work teams due to the quarantine.

"Great panel to communicate as a work team."

    Posted 02/14/2021

Pros: One of the most notable positive features of Slack is the section that is below the main panel, in this section all pending messages, mentions and reactions, specific threads of conversations and also saved messages are shown, this section helps me to be able to visualize specific messages and to be able to know when or in which communication channel they have mentioned me. Another feature that I like about Slack is that it also has the ability to communicate with anyone around the world, no matter where that person is, just simply integrate them into a chat channel and you can immediately have one direct communication. Slack messages are receive instantly, which helps make communication totally fast.

Cons: Slack's search system is not optimized at all, this search system offers the user the opportunity to search for a specific message or search for some conversations on specific days, however, I don't like it because it takes a long time to search the various results and when you find messages, not all your searches appear, only a part of what you have found or the most outstanding messages. I would like to have a more optimized message search system that allows me to find what I am looking for.

Overall: I am satisfied with the services that Slack has provided me, communication in my company is a totally important factor and what helps us to grow and complete all kinds of business tasks. Slack has been a very good platform to communicate as a work team, this platform has allowed us to send and receive messages in just a few seconds, and so we can have conversations on any topic and we can also have discussions that helps us simplify the work of the company. Slack is a fast platform, its panel is very easy to use and the notification system is quite good.

"Excellent design and very good panel for team communication."

    Posted 02/09/2021

Pros: Team Collaboration is quite an important issue for all of us, because this allows all activities to be accomplished and teamwork can be consistently performed. Slack is an incredible platform to develop teamwork and to keep all areas of a company communicated, the most salient positive characteristics that I noticed are:

1.- It has an excellent notification system for all types of devices, and warns at the exact moment when messages are sent in each of the chat channels.
2.- In the main section of the panel, when you log in, a small box appears where all the unread messages appear and the mentions that have occurred while you were not online are also displayed.
3.- The conversations of all communication channels work in real time and allow very simultaneous messaging to be had.

Cons: 1.- I don't like that Slack conversations cannot be regulated, because on some occasions, conversation topics or group discussions get out of control and this creates a disaster in the chat channels. I would like to have system that regulates messages and can prevent spam.
2.- The word search engine that Slack offers is a bit slow, and it is slower when there have been many messages within a communication channel. As the time-line of each chat channel grows, the word search process will take even longer.

Overall: From 1 to 5, I would give Slack a 4, because it is a platform that has helped us to be able to communicate in our work area and to be able to maintain an interaction despite the distance we are. In these times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Slack has been very useful because it has provided us with an online communication with all my work colleagues, and has kept us connected for all kinds of discussions and to talk about any specific topic. Slack is very easy to use, the general design of the panel that it offers to users is very attractive.

Despite the problems that Slack presents to be able to search for words, its general system is very good, communication is always persistent and it helps to share information much more frequently.

"General negotiations with clients and discussions thanks to Slack."

    Posted 02/05/2021

Pros: Slack is group communication software to be able to communicate without drops and without failures in sending and receiving messages. What I like the most about this platform is that it allows me to quickly modify my work area, thanks to the commands and the very simple configurations it has, I can modify all the communication channels and manage the members of each channel, without complications. In addition, I also like that Slack offers me real-time messaging, which helps me instantly receive and send messages to all my co-workers, the real-time operation is what makes Slack such a beneficial platform, because we can interact consecutively, without having to wait for messages to be processed or sent.

Cons: Currently I consider that I do not have any negative opinion about Slack, I am very happy to use this platform as the primary communication system for my team. Also, I find that Slack has helped me a lot to organize myself with all my colleagues, and no complaints have arisen during my experience with this platform. It is a software that is very worth using, due to the great potential of general communication that it has for all the employees of a work area.

Overall: Currently in our company, we use Slack daily because this platform helps us to organize ourselves, to be able to discuss topics in general and to be able to have a broad conversation about any work matter. I am very happy with how Slack works, it s a fluid platform that does not present any type of complication when sending or receiving messages from anyone integrated into the communication channels. In addition, Slack allows me to maintain this communication with all my colleagues thanks to its fantastic application for mobile phones, which helps me to be able to have business messaging wherever I go. Slack has been very beneficial in our sales sector, as we can organize sales in a better way and can discuss any type of negotiation.

    Posted 02/04/2021

Pros: Slack offers us a unified team communication app to coordinate. It's the best solution for team communication. Slack has limitless integration support with business tools. You can integrate (Google Drive, Zoom, Salesforce, Asana) and more.

Cons: Slack itself works great, but the integrated tool doesn't work well.

Overall: In our daily use, Slack turns to be a reliable app to communicate with co-workers. Its UI and menu made best for the professional. The overall platform is best for business.

    "For group discussions "

    Posted 02/04/2021

Pros: Suppose you need to convey your message as a broadcast in groups. It fits very well. You can send a message, and one can have a conversation in the text message itself.

Cons: The free version does not provide enough access, so you can use it and decide whether you want to buy it or not.

Overall: It is totally for professional or conversation between the group, you can have individual chats and calls, but it doesn't fit best for it. But for broadcast and group chatting, it is perfect.

Pros: Let you start a sub conversation on a threat.
Let you see previous as well as anyone conversation.
Too much centric for professional space.

Cons: It does not fit for other than formal environment.
It does not support adding all the participants in a video call at a time.

Overall: I have been using it for my college project. We communicate and discuss on slack. Overall we feel it is a nice and good app for formal and small meetings.
