Posted 03/02/2021Pros: I love how easy FileCenter is to use! I actually enjoy using it. Saves so much time and not only have I organized my document but also my family photos.
Cons: I have nothing to say bad about File Center. I wish I had found out about it sooner.
Overall: Excellent. FileCenter is perhaps the most important software I use. I love how easy it is to store and share. Finding documents and photos are no problem anymore using FileCenter.

"Powerful Windows-based File Management Software"
Posted 03/02/2021Pros: Doesn't lock you into a monthly billing cycle.
Doesn't lock your documents in a proprietary database.
Windows-based (not cloud-based).
Complete document management, creation, and conversion (PDF, MS Office, and other common formats).
Fantastic receipts scanning and reporting module (add-on product).
Training videos, facebook user groups, and manuals readily available.
Friendly customer support.Cons: Parts of the interface are unconventional and take some getting used to.
Some advanced features have a steep learning curve.Overall: Most of the tools in FileCenter are very easy to use out-of-the-box and others take a little time to figure out, due to its sometimes unconventional interface. Having said that, it's packed with powerful document management tools, including some that are surprisingly powerful for a small business or consumer-level product. Its PDF creation, conversion, and editing tools are excellent. Also, it doesn't lock you into a cloud subscription like some other products. It's almost cheap enough to buy and just play with, compared to other software in its class. I highly recommend it.

"Amazing, Time Saving Product"
Posted 03/02/2021Pros: I really love the ease of use of the software for starters. Each of my users, as well as myself, now use it on a daily basis. We store files from financial records to HR records, to just about anything under the sun.
The product is also a non-proprietary software. We had been using another solution, and it was an encrypted database solution. We loved it, but then the database got corrupted and there was no warning. Our backups didn't have a version that wasn't corrupted and we lost years of data. FileCenter has been great, and we now manage the encryption and the security ourselves.
They also have a great tool that reads files that are consistently the same, like invoices and legal docs, then routes them automatically after processing the information. We used to take 3-5 hours a day to scan in all of our documents, process them, name them and then store them where they needed to go. Now our scanning person in charge of those document types takes about 5-10 minutes a day to just scan the files and the system does the rest. We have estimated that we save around $18,000-$20,000 a year on just that one document type every single year. We are now getting ready to get started on the next file to auto-route and can't wait to see the same kind of results.Cons: The PDF Editor that is built into the software is kind of cumbersome to learn, but over a little bit of time and with some help from their trainers, we have been able to start getting the hang of it.
Overall: We are a small office of just more than 5 employees. We have now taken all those employees and made them more efficient. We love the fact that we didn't have to be a large firm to use the software.

"FileCenter, where have you been?"
Posted 03/01/2021Pros: FileCenter was a perfect find for our office. We had been searching for something that was easy to use and that kept our files on the Windows file system. All the database and cloud DMS programs were way to complicated and expensive. FileCenter has a bunch of productivity tools like a PDF editor, OCR, and more. FileCenter just makes a lot more sense for small offices. You'd be stupid not to at least try it out.
Cons: Up to this point, FileCenter has delivered on all the things we need.
Overall: I just can't believe it took me so long to find FileCenter. I wish I had looked sooner for something like this. FileCenter has exceeded my expectations. I love talking about things that I love.

"Best Bang for your Buck!"

Easy to use.
Little Support Needed.
Great Organization tools.
Training Videos and tons of resources available.
Easy to integrate.
You own your own data.
Can connect to a cloud.
Sharepoint integration.Cons: There really isn't any cons to the software. The only thing is it isn't free.
Overall: Overall the software does everything I need as a small business as far as managing documents goes. They have tons of resources available for me to make sure I can take full advantage of the software.

Cabinet structure with drawers and folders to easily organize.
Scans to location you select in Cabinet structure.
Files are still accessible in Windows.
PDF Editor and PDF Printer included.Cons: No cons for me with FileCenter, it has made things easier for me to organize my documents.
Overall: I've had a great experience with all of the FileCenter features. It's an awesome product and has been super helpful. Support is also quick to reply to tickets. I've been able to sort out a mess of files that were scattered all over the place.

"Simple and amazing "

Split screen to help move files around.
I am able to unstack if I scan in bulk.
I am able to open a PDF and edit it without having to open Adobe.Cons: There are a lot of features and tools to learn and not enough time in the day!
Overall: I bought FileCenter because I have several boxes of paper I need to scan and shred. All I can say is wow! FileCenter is so easy to use and I have already scanned and organized half of what I have! I am still learning the features and I have already had to reach out to support because I had some questions and they were able to walk me through what I needed.

"Everything i needed and nothing I didn't"
Posted 02/26/2021Pros: It was easy to setup cabinets. I liked how the software helped me to create consistency in my folder structures. I had issues in the past with everyone in the office storing documents on the shared drive however they wanted, and this software will help me resolve that issue. I also like the ocr engine. I can easily search for an invoice number or account number on the document.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that it didn't have a workflow or an approval process in the software.
Overall: Software was easy to setup and use. I liked how it helped me to create folder structures and naming conventions in the system. making it easy for everyone in the office to store documents in the same way. It saved me a lot of time everyday looking for documents.
