    Pro-tip: If you depart from Bologna airport, wait until the last possible minute to go through security. On the other side there’s 1/20th the amount of seats as people, pervasive perfume, and terrible mask usage.

    Let’s not forget all the misinformation taught in American schools, from Columbus to Christian viewpoints, to abstinence.

    There’s no magic solution to misinfo and I fear that too many people think there is. Some improvements would be an education system that values civics as much as the tested subjects, more gov investment in research, far better gov communication.

    Every couple of years they seem to do a push to suck up as many people from civil society as they can. They didn’t succeed with me but they did get another one. I hope that person can change things; I highly doubt it though.

    Facebook does employ a lot of people with integrity. What they don’t do is listen to those people. This is probably a good time to share that they tried to recruit me this year, *after* Silicon Values came out.
