    What makes radar satellite imaging unique? It can see at night when others can’t. Capella's nighttime imagery shows the at 9:24 PM Egyptian time still blocking the . No optical satellite will be able to report on this for hours.

    We rotated our SAR imagery of the blockage for easier visual interpretation, placing the layover up and shadow down. The annotation shows the footprint, deck and cargo of the Ever Given as well as a support vessel in the canal.
