    Paik was a pioneer in performance & technology-based art. Did you know that he was the first artist to use a small portable video camera in 1965?🎥 Paik created “Ommah” (Korean for “mother”) in 2005 — the background of the video shows close-up views of early 1970s video games🎮

    During her long residence in France, Cassatt sent paintings back to exhibitions in the United States—hers were among the first impressionist works seen in the country.🖌
