On contexts with many APIs and APIs calling other APIs in chains, having too many spans in the zipkin/jaeger dashboards may lead to a too complex usage of such dashboards and of not necessary big data volumes.

Why is this needed:
For example, Deploy has kube-state-metric, which can provide the metric, so we can well count and monitor it in Prometheus. Kruise'

With raw kube approach, we can easily have a built-in ComponentDefinition to reference a Git repo as a component (using Flux Kustomization as example but there're many approaches indeed):
