spotifyd disables shuffle (at least) on every restart.
I usually have shuffle turned on.
So it would be cool if spotifyd could either preserve the status of if shuffle is enabled, or have a config/commandline option to set an initial value if shuffle should be enabled.

This is a minor design quirk rather than a major bug - I know I'm being fussy by reporting this. I'll counter that by saying I really like the Spot app and it has replaced the official Spotify client on all my Linux machines. Spot is much more pleasant to use.

It would be neat if you could change the color of the text that shows when the progress bar covers it without changing the background. My motivation is that I enjoy the black background but the default color can be hard to read on dark progress bar colors.
