It's always a good idea to work on documentation. I think it would also be good to restructure the README:
- Add a quick link section at the top of the readme (see https://github.com/sharkdp/bat)
- Extend the tutorial (rename "How to use"?)
- Move the "Parallel command execution" section inside the "How to use" section). See also: #605
- Move "Installation" section below the

Can we make the --command-name take the same arguments from --parameter-list as the actual command
I would like to parameterize the command name based on the parameters from the parameter list
Currently the --command-name only seem to take into account the first one in the list it would be nice if we could parametrerize the --command-name with the <VAR> as we do in the actual command
Here is a concrete example I'm running
hyperfine "brun -c opt -- //simwork/examples:Hepatitis
Output improvements
I currently have a very big hook, with dozens of useStates, lots of them have empty arrays which trigger unncesary re-renders. But I don't know which is the one doing it each time wdyr logs it's output. I get:
Re-rendered because of hook changes:
[hook useState result]
...diff
When would be very useful for me is:
Re-rendered because of hook changes:
[hook useState result]
I think it would be interesting to try and maintain some level of compatibility with xxd. I recently came across this when following a blog post, trying to use hexyl instead of xxd.
- The most obvious thing would be to introduce (yet another) alias for
--length/--bytes, i.e.-lin addition to-nand-c.

Related with nunomaduro/phpinsights#23 will be a great idea to allow set all commands parameters from config/insights.php when is used with php artisan insights.
Maybe something like:
'parameters' => '--format=json -d memo-

Just came across this nice program, only to realize that it is missing many named colors:
$ pastel color red3
[pastel error]: Could not parse color 'red3'
Please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X11_color_names and https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/app/rgb/tree/rgb.txt .
The few clashing color names could be resolved by using a x11- prefix like in x11-gray.
It would be great to have a multiple translations of the README.md in order to make it more accessible for non English-speaker to use the tool. These translations will be accessible directly from the English README.md via hyperlinks and placed in the docs folder.

Foundation v8.27.0 added support for parallel testing in the test command. However, this is currently broken as per the notes in laravel-zero/foundation#52.
The issue
when browsing, i should be able to perf-check right from the browser and results should be siphoned back to the extension.

Thank you so much for creating bat! Very happy with the app.
I'm customizing things a bit and my BAT_OPTS is breaking
--list-themes. It's paging one theme at a time and the theme names are not shown. That makes it unusable, unfortunately. Maybe we should ignore--paging=always(or perhaps all config) when running that command?`BAT_OPTS="--theme=TwoDark --paging=always --pager='less -j3
