    I used StyleGAN2 to train a custom model on 1100 photos & videos I took during my daily lockdown walks March-August. Here's a little video of what came out. Yes, I think this accurately represents my experience of the year.

    It's pretty wild that is retweeting this from . I realise that tweets, and words, are not actions, but it's still kind of mind blowing to see the White House encouraging a conversation about workers seizing power.

    The 2010s gave us the gig economy and left millions of workers stranded seemingly forever on the precipice of financial ruin. The 2020s could be the decade when workers seize back the reins of power.

    This is very well articulated

    💯 Decomposable, unopinionated tools that do a single thing well are great! But opinions are OK too, and eventually someone has to package them together into something greater than the sum of the parts.

    Packaging. It's always packaging. Convenience is the killer app.

    If you’re looking for ideas to break into open source, find a few things that already exist and work well together and package them together into something that’s even easier to use. Most open source is just abstractions on top of abstractions.
