Wrong definition[edit]

In first paragraph there is:

"A 'complete' computer including the hardware, the operating system (main software), and peripheral equipment required and used for 'full' operation can be referred to as a computer system."

It's not true in my opinion. Computer not need to has operating system to be complete. I propose change this sentence to:

"A Turing-complete computer can be used to simulate any Turing machine."

Second issue: computer system has two meanings. First is synonymous to computer hardware architectere. Second one is computer system = combination of hardware, software, user and data. Current defnition is not correct. —83.31.52.208 (talk • contribs) 11:44, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[]

Wikipedia is based on WP:Verifyability, not editors' opinions or reasoning. Changes to the basic definition of this subject will require authoritative sources to cite. This article states peripheral equipment is needed for a computer system to be complete. I think it may be beneficial to add more about this to the history section of this article. Including facts on how peripheral equipment has changed over time could be a nice addition to the history section of this article. --GoKnights2021 (talk) 18:04, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[]
