    Halo Infinite technical preview is live 🙏

    Ok, I can confirm the technical preview is SLOWLY rolling out now. Waypoint messages are going to take a bit and the site is definitely getting slammed. The build is available in the Xbox Insider Hub (console) and Steam (PC) for Halo Insiders who are invited. (1/4)

    We are proceeding with a full global server re-deploy as part of this fix, which will take time. As soon as we get USWest online we can start prelim testing there in parallel. Team is working nonstop, as fast as they can. Our "afternoon" PT target is pushing into "evening."

    looks like the Halo Infinite technical preview is delayed due to some issues. It'll arrive once it's ready 👍

    Flight log, day 117: The initial fix for the issue didn't work as expected. After further investigation a new approach was implemented and is being tested. Unsure if it will require another full re-deployment, awaiting test pass completion. This is why we flight.

    the Olympics has been a mess in the UK, too. The BBC no longer has full rights, so it can only show two live events at a time. Discovery has got the rights and has done a poor job compared to the BBC's usually excellent coverage

    the PS5's expandable storage support is trickier than plugging in a storage expansion card on Xbox Series X... but it's not proprietary storage. As prices for Gen4 SSDs drop, PS5 owners will see the benefits of cheaper storage immediately. Both have tradeoffs, either way

    Sony's first PS5 software beta is rolling out today, and it includes the long-awaited M.2 SSD support. You'll need a Gen4 M.2 with read speeds of 5,500MB/s or more. There are also a bunch of UX improvements. Full details here:
