checkinstall scons install

gives an error:

Install file: "build/linux/lib/libRHVoice.so.5.1.0" as "/usr/lib/libRHVoice.so.5.1.0"
scons: *** [/usr/lib/libRHVoice.so.5.1.0] No such file or directory

I'm using link-grammar-5.3.15.

Even when I added /usr/local/lib to jvm props:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no liblink-grammar in java.library.path

I fixed it by replacing that line into:

System.load("/usr/local/lib/liblink-grammar-java.so")

I'm preparing to teach this for the first time, and I keep "coming up with great ideas for a challenge" only to find that they're clumped at the end (that I've done this more than once is shame on me ;) of course). I don't know if this is deliberately following a different model of teach-test or if it's the result of a migrations?
