At least on Android (iOS does not yet implement the API), a PWA implementing the Share Target API would make submitting downloads much easier as YoutubeDL-Material could appear directly in the OS's share menu!

When logging in to the app, using 2FA will send a message to another device to confirm the login request. However, instead of displaying the correct info for the machine used to login (Windows, Laptop Name), all that was reported was a nondescript "Mac" machine. The reported location was correct, however. This same info is accessible from the Google Account/Security If this is intended, explain so

~/.config/youtube-dlg should just contain configuration files and not logs (which should go to $XDG_DATA_HOME/youtube-dlg/ ) nor youtube-dl binary (which should go to $XDG_CACHE_HOME).
Please also consider using
appdirsinstead of hardcoding ~/.config/
