  9. Reminder: All UI claimants with BYE dates in August, must file NEW claims if they continue to be unemployed after their BYE date. UI claimants will *not* receive benefits on an expired claim unless deemed not qualified for a new claim after reapplying.

  13. ICYMI: Sunday through Thursday nights at 5:30 pm, our system starts processing payments to be released the next day. That means if you certify after 5:30 pm, your benefit payment likely won't appear on your DOL account the next day – instead, it will appear in two days.

  18. Claimants who have received 13+ weeks of EB will no longer be eligible for EB on their existing claim after the benefit week of August 9, 2021 but may be eligible for PEUC or PUA benefits through September 5, 2021. Claimants who are unemployed should continue to certify weekly.
