    In general, I believe government should rarely impose its will upon the people, and, when doing so, should aspire to maximize their cumulative happiness. That said, I would prefer to stay out of politics.

    What a night to go into Manhattan despite my better judgement

    New York would be better if we treated all the boroughs like completely different cities. People are too casual about dragging me out of Brooklyn.

    when I lived in San Francisco I treated being going to Oakland or Berkeley like an event. In New York people expect you to just go anywhere in the city
