    I consumed copious amounts of Gratuitas coffee at DEFCON and tipped accordingly directly to the farmers, cannot recommend them enough! Such an awesome project making *real* impact using as the conduit. Check them out for some amazing coffee:

    I've updated both guides to reflect that I am now running a rendezvous node that can be used for listing and discovering swap peers: The original was for testing, and will hopefully soon be replaced by community nodes like mine.

    tl;dr if the swap fails after depositing Bitcoin, be sure to cancel and refund the swap in a timely manner to ensure you get all funds back. This should not happen often, but good to be aware of the right response for when it does.

    This is *by design*, and exists to allow ASB owners to protect themselves against denial-of-service attacks that would otherwise lock up all of their funds for lengthy periods of time. For more on how the swap process/punish works, see here:

    I've added a very important section to my atomic swap guide for those going > : If the swap fails its imperative that you act in a timely manner, or the Monero-seller can punish you and claim the Bitcoin deposited.

    And it's here 😎 Dig in below if you're interested in running the ASB tool/selling XMR for BTC via atomic swaps: Atomic swaps are a huge part of allowing on/off-ramps for Monero without trust and without KYC/middle-men. And we're only getting started.

    Guide to running your own ASB/XMR seller for atomic swaps is now officially WIP. If you're really wanting to dive in, I'd recommend making sure you're already running your own Monero node if at all possible, and if not, start running one:

    The identification processes required by regulated services (KYC/AML) are both dangerous and ineffective. Criminals can simply use leaked, stolen, or purchased data while honest users suffer with reduced financial access and increased risk of theft & extortion.

    FYI the value of a KYC exchange account on muh darknet is 50$
