    Downtime with calf strains are tough to call.

    No idea about Jimmy, but I could see Shanahan saying to Trey, “You’ve got two weeks to show me something.” Which, for the record, would be bad. Why play Trey and then bench him? Give him the keys, and give him the bye week coming up to really get comfortable.

    Thanks Ian. The location + instability of the finger fracture will dictate the downtime.

    From NFL Now: WR Will Fuller broke a finger in Sunday’s loss and is expected to be week-to-week, sources say. More bad news after a rough day.

    With the right foot anchored in the turf, the force is xfered to the knee. This injury quickly becomes an emergency to protect the blood flow, then the nerves and lastly the ligaments.

    Great point. Approx. 20% of athletes recovering from ACL reconstructions don’t regain full quad size. Meanwhile, after this surgery, reduced muscle size does not always equal muscle weakness.

    The world lost a great man and a dear friend of mine last night, sports psychologist Trevor Moawad. His love of others and passion to help athletes succeed was second to none. RIP my friend. 😢🙏💙

    True. Thanks Ross. Each player’s vaccination status will determine how they will be managed when deemed “in close contact” with someone who tests COVID positive.

    Not good. RT : Browns’ linebacker Jacob Phillips tore his biceps tendon and is now most likely to miss the season, per source. Phillips was the Browns’ 2020 3rd-round pick and a key contributor on defense.
