    1/ The team has been working around the clock for the last week to support the State of Georgia in running their first state-wide risk-limiting audit, which turned into a full hand-count.

    We just wrapped up our work supporting Georgia with their post-election audit. Because of the tight margin, this audit turned into the largest hand-count in US history.

    Thoughts on improving the certification process for voting machines. Yes, it's wonky and geeky, but it's important.

    Bottom line – we urge the EAC to consider that current policies are entrenching manufacturers created prior to 2015 and making it harder for newer manufacturers to get certified. But it's the newer manufacturers who are more interested in moving the market to VVSG 2.0.

    Check out this piece featuring . Voting systems should be open source. Not only criteria, but an important one. Some voters question 2016. Others 2020. I think those elections went well, but transparency matters for public trust.

    I am very rarely angered - it isn’t in my nature. But I am livid at the “experts” - particularly those in the medical profession - who claim WITHOUT EVIDENCE that our kids in high surge states don’t need to mask. Thereby putting kids, schools, & communities at risk. A thread.

    Thank you Michael. I think you have sullied your reputation all by yourself. You have made wild claims, done estimates without even simple vetting of data and methods, calling everyone else stupid and trashing others (). I hope it will change.

    Makes sense given the use of third-party scripts meant to deeply analyze every click, but completely unacceptable outcome. It is absolutely time to confine trackers to an iframe, or at least start by removing all trackers for login.

    Fun paper presented at SecWeb today: trackers will exfiltrate user email ids and sometimes passwords; and the consent banners present everywhere don't seem to do much. Security teams must push trackers to a separate iframe!

    I truly wish Disney had made this available on demand. A have a little guy who is too young to qualify for vaccination and wants nothing more than to see this movie. He’s being bombarded with ads and toy promos for it. Maybe make it possible for him to see it safely, Disney?

    If, unprompted, candidate cannot stop dumping on prior employer, yes could be a problem. However, sometimes folks have bad experiences they need to protect themselves from repeating. And if you're inducing them... that's ridiculous. A good interview is not a riddle or a trap.

    When trying to hire someone, induce the person to say something negative about a past employer. If you succeed, stay away.

    Edge Of Tomorrow is such an exceptionally unique movie in all respects, and the special features show how much dedication went into it. The crafting of the suits, totally unique alien design and mechanics, stunt rigging, practical effects wherever possible. It got done so dirty.

    I am looking for a simple video-conferencing system for families, ideally just a simple station where you can call grandkids / grandparents in a couple of touches. Tried Google Nest Hub Max... I literally can't make it work. Is there something good in this space?

    I was not concerned about these plans, but at least comms around plan was poorly done, and it's the right thing to take a step back and gather more input from civil societies and third-party experts. Kudos to the many folks who pushed on this, including notably .
